Cheese, chocolate and champagne – How French!

The French Cheese Festival in New Caledonia brought famous French cheese master Gérard Poulard to the cosmopolitan South Pacific city of Noumea every year along with his selection of over 130 remarkable artisan cheeses – “Collection de Fromages” from all over France.

The 2010 Cheese Festival took place at Le Méridien Noumea, from 8-19 June. The entertaining programme included tastings, composing, presentation, suggested order of tasting, food and beverage matching (breads, wine, salt meats, foie gras, fruits, teas), and the chance to have all your cheese questions answered.

Bon voyage with Aircalin and Bon Apetite with Le Meridien.  For assistance with guided gourmet tours and indulgent accommodations during the festival, see RainbowTourism.com

As soon as we know about the 2011 Festival we will update the site.

While the festival may be over you can still have your own gourmet experience in New Caledonia.
