Liberati, Australia’s largest gay “festival at sea”, sets sail from Sydney on October 5, 2013, calling into port at the Isle of Pines on October 8th, and Noumea on the 9th.
The entire ship – Royal Caribbean’s newly revitalised Rhapsody of the Seas – has been chartered by Unity Events of Sydney, who will be presenting a spectacular onboard experience dubbed “The Liberati.” The cruise liner can accommodate 2400 passengers, and Unity Events expects a sell out to gay and lesbians from Australia and internationally.
Unity Events director Sarina Bogdanov says “Liberati is all about enjoying the finer things in life; from sailing the turquoise waters of the South Pacific to enjoying the best in world class entertainment.” Combining world-class artists with style and sophistication in a festival setting, Liberati will feature over 20 acts.
